Answer guide

Booking a MinuteFame video minute: length, 24-hour review, and what gets refused

Scarcity first

Only one post live at a time. A video minute still gets the whole screen for exactly sixty seconds — with a countdown. Price enables that scarce stage; review rules protect it.

Short answer: video checklist

On MinuteFame a video minute is £5 on any day — ordinary days and celebration days (Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, US Independence Day, Thanksgiving) alike, never more (/pricing). Your clip must fit exactly 60 seconds — longer may be refused; MinuteFame does not silently clip (/rules). Book at least 24 hours ahead so a person can watch the whole clip. If it isn’t cleared in time, it doesn’t air and you get a full refund. Hard refuse lines live on /rules.

Checklist

  1. Pick a free future minute (≥24 hours out for video).
  2. Keep the clip to ≤60 seconds.
  3. Confirm it is yours to post (and consent for identifiable people).
  4. Stay inside the hard lines on Rules.
  5. Pay £5 — a video minute’s price on any day.
  6. If not cleared before air → no show + full refund.

How much is a video minute?

Day typePrice for video
Ordinary (standard) day£5
Named celebration day£5 (never stacked)

Text and image minutes are £1 on an ordinary day and £5 on the celebration days: Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, US Independence Day, Thanksgiving.

A video is £5 on any day because a person watches every clip in full before it airs; that review is also why it needs 24 hours’ notice.

When a still is enough: a birthday photo on an ordinary day is £1. A video is £5 on any day, and on a celebration day you still pay £5 once — not stacked tiers.

How long can my billboard video be?

Exactly 60 seconds of exclusive full-screen time. A video longer than 60 seconds may be refused. MinuteFame does not silently clip (/rules). Soft contrast: many physical personal slots use much shorter rotating creatives — different product unit; this page does not deep-compare outdoor networks.

How far ahead do I need to book?

  • Video: at least 24 hours ahead because a person watches every clip in full before it airs (/pricing, /rules).
  • You can still schedule video far ahead (up to 25 years when free) — 24 hours is a minimum lead, not a maximum horizon.

What happens in human review?

A person watches every video in full before it airs. Rules note that nothing automated can check a clip the way it checks a still — this review is the check (/rules).

If it isn’t cleared before its minute: it does not air and is refunded in full.

Monitoring honesty: automated pre-checks and a one-tap Report control are not live yet; a person reviews on a regular check (/rules). Report issues by email to support@minutefame.com until then. Immediate danger → emergency services.

Consent, ownership, “mine to post”

You must own the video or have permission. Identifiable real people need consent (/rules). Booking flows that ask you to confirm ownership/consent should be left unticked until true. Minors: sexual/exploitative content involving under-18 is a hard refuse; identifiable children’s photos are tightly limited — see Rules.

What gets refused (plain English)

Paying does not buy the right to put anything on screen. Hard lines on /rules include (non-exhaustive): minors / CSAM; sexual content and nudity; hate and harassment; doxxing; scam/malware links; impersonation; trademark/copyright abuse; certain election and medical claims presented as fact; illegal content; graphic violence; spam / evasion.

Merely tasteless or a bad joke can stay unless it crosses a hard line. Promo/logo content is allowed if yours and within trademark/copyright rules — do not pass off someone else’s brand.

Do I need professional artwork?

No. /pricing states a text message, photo or short video is enough. A phone clip can work if it fits 60 seconds and the Rules.

Refunds and wrong-file anxiety

  • Refused before live / taken down for policy / never appeared → full refund to the original method (/refunds, /rules).
  • Cancel a future minute before start (if not already refused) → full refund by emailing support@minutefame.com.
  • Wrong file / wrong minute that played as booked → no refund.
  • Uncleared video → no air + full refund.
