Answer guide

£1 for 60 Seconds on a Web Billboard — What That Actually Means

Scarcity and countdown come first

  • Only one post is live at a time.
  • It fills the full screen for 60 seconds.
  • A second-by-second countdown runs on screen.
  • The minute is exclusive — nobody shares it with you.

£1 is the enabler, not the whole story.

The short answer

MinuteFame is a public digital billboard on the web. You get exactly 60 seconds. A standard minute is £1 for text or a photo; celebration-day minutes are £5, and a video minute is £5 on any day (see pricing). The Wall of Fame is opt-in. It is web only, not a physical screen. For a soft look at past minutes, visit the Wall of Fame.

What £1 buys — and what it does not

What £1 buysDetail
TimeExactly 60 seconds
ExclusivityOnly one post on screen
CountdownSecond-by-second on screen
PriceFrom £1 for a standard minute
ContentText or an image (a video minute is £5)
Wall of FameOptional, only if you opt in

It does not buy:

  • A slot on Piccadilly Lights or in Times Square.
  • Guaranteed viral reach.
  • Freedom from the rules — see Refunds.
  • Automatic Wall of Fame placement — it is opt-in; see Privacy.

The authoritative price: a standard minute is £1 for text or an image. A video minute is £5 on any day. A celebration-day minute is £5 on named days — Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, US Independence Day and Thanksgiving (listed on /pricing). In short: share a message or photo for £1 on a standard minute, or a video for £5; celebration-day minutes are £5. Price sources are /pricing and llms.txt. Content policy lives in the Rules.

  • “£1 billboard” and “cheap digital billboard”
  • “60 seconds of fame” and “one minute of fame”
  • “Put my message on a billboard”
  • “Web billboard” and “online billboard”

Honest match: you want a scarce, exclusive public minute on the web. Wrong match: you want a physical street screen — MinuteFame is not that.

How the live minute works

  1. Only one post is live at a time.
  2. It runs for 60 seconds with a countdown.
  3. You pick any free future minute.
  4. The content must be yours to post and follow the Rules.
  5. Video needs at least 24 hours’ notice for review.
  6. It appears on the Wall of Fame only if you opted in.

MinuteFame is operated by Workivio Ltd. Payments are handled by Stripe.

Honest limitations

  • Web only — no physical screen.
  • Monitoring honesty: automated checks are being built and are not fully live yet — see the Rules.
  • No fake social proof, invented view counts or testimonials.
  • This page only offers a soft link to the Wall of Fame.
